Making of "Photo-mirror": Japan

My website has been updated. Larger images of "Weird Wind" and "Photo-mirror": Japan are there :)

Photo-mirror: Japan

This is my first time to exhibit in Japan:) It'll be held at Aquvii TOKYO, a very interesting store! I'll show a new series of "Photo-mirror". Please take a look if you'll be around~

“Photo-mirror” involves photo and drawing. I made a drawing to respond to the chosen photo. It’s an attempt to create a dialogue between photo and drawing, reality and imagination, fortuitous and deliberate. Such juxtaposition is like the reflection in the mirror. Photos in this series were the snap shots that I took in Japan few years ago.

Here I would love to thank Yo for making this happened!

Weird Wind

This is my new work " Weird Wind" for the exhibition "Now and Then". I tried acrylic and water colour paper this time. A bit different materials/ procedure from the past~

Do you have the experience that strong wind blows suddenly when you get ready to take photo? It's what this work says.

Will upload larger images to my website later. Welcome to see the real pieces at Fringe Club from now to 12th, October :)
